The role:
We are looking for a PPC Executive to sit within our Paid Search Team and support with optimisation and growth of this channel.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in a junior PPC or similar Digital Marketing role and be a fast learner with a positive outlook, who is eager to develop as an essential member of a highly focused and fast-growing team. They will have a strong eye for detail and be keen to support the rest of the PPC team in campaign settings, keyword mining, analysis and general optimisation and development of the PPC accounts. We are looking for someone with a passion in Digital Marketing and a keen interest in Beauty or Retail.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop compelling ad copy and creatives for specific target audiences ensuring it is in line with the brand tone of voice
- Support the PPC team with weekly launches of new brands, products, categories and promotions
- Keyword research and negative keyword mining from Search Query Reports
- Campaign health checks
- Identify opportunities for account expansion
- Bid strategy optimisation
- Support of the Paid Media Managers and wider team in optimising PPC accounts
- Ad hoc reporting in support of the Paid Media Managers and wider business
- Keep up to date on the latest Google trends, products and services
- Regularly audit accounts and scan for possible optimisations and performance opportunities
- Run regular reports, write commentary and extract actionable insights
Relevant skills and experience
- Ideally you will have at least 6 months paid search (PPC) experience
- Experience in creating and managing campaigns on Google and Microsoft Ads
- Experience in running Shopping campaigns
- Understanding of bidding tools such as SA360
- Eager to learn, research and take initiative
- Have both an analytical and creative mindset, with a strong eye for detail and ability to problem-solve
- Excellent written English skills
- A data driven approach with excellent analytical skills
- Strong Excel user
- Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Desirable
- Google Ads Qualified
- Experience of Google Analytics
- Understanding of e-commerce marketing and the beauty industry
